Eagle River Coal ChuteThis is the original coal chute on the southern CPR track, looking east. The original railroad station is out of sight behind the coal chute.
I scanned this old picture which is in horrible condition. Best repair that I can do.

Eagle River Coal Docks 1965The coal chute was replaced by two coal docks with bucket conveyors to transport the coal to the lofts which were then fed to the train's coal car via a chute. Now the trains could be coaled from either track.
